The 55th Season of the Shaw Festival
In 2016, The Shaw Festival offers 10 plays from April 9 to October 16, which feature the works of the Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries. The theatre now in its 55th season has been drawing people from south of the border and all over the world.
The Festival Theatre will stage three productions, Alice in Wonderland, A Woman of No Importance and Sweeney Todd.
The Court House Theatre, has Uncle Vanya, “Master Harold” …and the Boys, and The Adventures of the Black Girl in Her Search for God.
Royal George Theatre, has Our Town, Mrs Warren’s Profession and Engaged.
And at the Studio Theatre, The Dance of Death and the Reading Series, where two plays will be read by ensemble members.
